Andrew Vu 8 weeks out videos

So we are 8 weeks away for Andrew's competition. So far he's about 161 lbs ( 5' 6" tall) So his plans are to drop about a pound a week. Most of it is going to be water. We can see a bit more changes in definition and vascularity (Jenny loves that word) lol

Anyways this is his 2nd back workout for the week. We did the same workout a few days prior. This was pretty light for me (of course I am 20lbs heavier and eating all the carbs I want lol) So I just filmed myself as well. The first time I finished the part 2 video it was at 95% and rendering. Then my primary drive was full so it froze the program. The auto-save didn't work so I had to start all over.  Fail.

I think we're going to shoot a leg video sometime in the next few days. We'll see.

Andrew Vu 9 weeks out videos

This is 9 weeks out from the competition date for Andrew. So far he's increased his cardio time from 30 minutes to 40 minutes since he started  a few weeks ago. We can see some veins starting to be visible and a slight hint of definition coming in. His abs lines are starting to show as well. We can see some slight separation in the quads as of this week. Lots of time left to drop roughly 10 lbs while retaining his lean mass. Some of his heavy sets I didn't add in the video. They don't look great but it does help him keep his strength up.

The workout sets are in order as I filmed them. He starts off with biceps and ends up doing biceps. A bit different from my bicep workout from last year's video where I just switch off from biceps to triceps set after set. You can try different workouts just to change it up and shock the muscles for growth.

Half year update.

     So I just wanted to congratulate those that have made it to this half year mark with  your blog sites. I started this on new years of 2011. I realized some of you guys just made a blog and expected me to tell you a miracle formula that will transform you to a greek-god-like-physique-looking-warrior and have women catapulting into your arms. Well, wrong. Like I said from the start that it is a lot of hard work and dedication. The road to your ideal physique is costly in both time and money.

      I see most of them, I would say 7 out of 10 people gave up. The 3 out of 10 people will realize that those workout videos that say "5 minute hardcore workout" are bogus. Why? I can tell you to run in place as fast as you can for 3 minutes and do 200 push ups in 2 minutes. bam! You will feel exhausted and you will look the same the next day. There is no shortcut. There is no cheat days.

Anyways, for the following blogs that have appeared on my feeds. You guys have kept up with it. Good job.

So this is his 10 weeks out videos.There's not many changes yet and he still hasn't dropped any weight yet. We should start seeing some gradual changes throughout the next few weeks. He's slowly dropping his carbs. For you guys trying to lose weight I would recommend you drop your carbs slowly as well. You don't want to completely cut it off because you'll starve because your body is not going to be used to it.

So I finished some videos from last week. Also want to say thanks for everyone that's following along. I hope you guys can pick up a few things from the videos. It may be an exercise you may want to try or what not. There will be some exercises/ techniques that he will use that I don't. So everyone's different. You may see if it works for you better or not. In the end you'll have a basic understanding of how hard work will pay off if you do it correctly. He has 10 more weeks to diet down so you guys will see some noticeable changes.

It's been a lot easier for me just to go film and not work out. lol. It's really tough to do both so you can try it and see what I'm talking about. Anyways I'm picking up on editing and getting faster at it. So I'm making some progress on that as well. We'll be filming his chest workout for tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Update for 06.03.11

Yes it's been a while. I haven't had a chance to sit at the computer and write anything. I've been really busy. I tried to answer a few questions here and there on youtube but like I said on the previous post. I've pretty much covered all the basics.



So.. updates of my life.

New wheels for my car :D
Groceries.
Same ole meals

Nothing new

I haven't been eating rice for a while. I switched to potates since you can just pop them in the microwave.

Hamstrings coming out a lil bit better.
... and yes I do have hair. I wear hats because I sweat at the gym a lot and it gets in my eyes.

Here's some motivation for working out.
(and no does not mean you'll get with my girl.
But yes it will give you better opportunities with women :)




Oh and a preview of what I am going to edit next. My friend Andrew Vu will be competing this summer in body building so I'll be filming him at least once a week for the next 10 weeks. Watch him get shredded and tear up the competition at Europa show in Dallas.
